I am about to launch a website for closed circle of people where I wish to integrate video-calling. Wonder seems like a good candidate for such job.Has anyone here already worked on Joomla/SP Page Builder integration with Wonder so that it actually looks good as well and leaving the space would return to the site again? Cheers, kimmo
Hi, I’m Claus, and I live in Austria.I am coach and consultant. I am graduated in group dynamics and I work a lot with large groups. I also teach at a university in Salzburg, Austria. You can see more of me at https://clausfaber.net.I am also active in the climate movement - I have founded “coaches for future” (https://coachesforfuture.org). We offer voluntary coaching and consulting for those active in the climate movement who cannot afford any consulting otherwise (mostly, because they themselves do voluntary work).I think wonder.me is a great platform that offers something the platforms up to now don’t offer and am happy to engage in its development from the user side.I propose/support two crucial features to be developed, which would make wonder.me a fully featured meeting place in space, and that is: (yes, and I would engage in translation to German). With “broadcast within a session”, it would be possible to host fishbowls (one of the most liveliest facilitation methods with l
Huhu, 👋At Wonder, we’ve been throwing around a few ideas of what we all would like to be called aka Wonderers, Wonderites, Wonderoos, etc. I personally like the Wonder Tribe, but Wonder Tribers doesn’t have that magical ring to it, or does it?!What do you all think? What would you like to be called?! 😃Comment below with a creative name for all of us Wonderians. The top, let’s say 3-5 depending, will then be made into a poll that we can all definitely decide! 👨⚖️Let’s do this, Wonderkindern 💭🚀🥳
Hi everyone. I’m Dorcas. I’m in Ireland and do the vast majority of my teaching online, to adult learners.I work in a university and also have my own business (related to websites/digital/creativity/learning). I’m new to Wonder (a colleague introduced it to me in January and we’ve already done some testing on it). I’m really impressed so far and will be using it more. My interest is in using it as an educational platform for specific tasks, and also for socialisers, ice-breakers and larger events for the wider community.
Hi,I’m running a trivia for a large group of people and wanted to have them in teams of 4-5 while I ask questions. When I broadcast to everyone to ask a trivia question, can the audience in their circles (teams) discuss their answers? I’ve read that the broadcast mutes them when it starts, but can they unmute themselves?
Hi there, I can’t wait to start using Wonder at PwC (and beyond) to help take networking to the next level. I’m waiting for our risk teams internally to give us the green light to start using it. My name is Mishal, I’m based out of beautiful Dubai and when I’m not revolutionising the world with helping make change easier and building world-class products, I’m mostly exploring and experimenting which is how I came across Wonder. Feel free to say Hi!
Hey everyone my name is Jonas & I’m from Berlin. I’ve been a fan of Wonder as a user for a long time. Recently the company I work for created a partnership with them, so things got official.I am interested in learning about event management since I am new to the industry. Looking forward to reading the posts here :)
I’m an Agile coach and Open Space Technology facilitator from central Massachusetts (west of Boston, USA), formerly of Bose and HPE, and now a free-lancer. I’ve been using Wonder as my virtual office and co-working space.I’m between Wonder rooms now, but if you’d like to connect for any reason, my calendar is public, Calendly.com/marctrudeau.(I was trained as a physicist, and have been an acoustical engineer, user-experience designer, and engineering and program manager in past lives.)Cheers!
Hello Wonder,This is Sebnem. I’m experienced Event Manager finally shifted from physical events to virtual. That was tough but finally completed the transition.I am working for mostly small clients that focus on internal events and workshops. We also run workshops and networking events as our own initiative. I just came across Wonder during researching other tools and was very impressed. I’m planning to try Wonder in some small events to pulse check. Then hope to find ways to implement monetization opportunities with our events. Looking forward to more on the discussions!
Hi,A question about this community. I see in the new design the Leaderboard has gone.I’m setting up communities myself, mainly by and for thousands of teachers. I always like to bring gamification in it, to trigger users to be more interactive. I know for some people this works, others don’t care and some also find those point, kudos, credits, rankings, … just annoying. But in the end I see a positive impact of gamification on having more interactivity.@ Wonder, why has the Leaderboard been removed? I’m curious for some new learnings. @ members, do you miss it? Do you like to be rewarded virtually by badges, credits, …? Just for fun.Hans
Hello all, We are working on different Virtual Workshop concepts for over a year now but could not figure out the monetization for these events yet. We used to have these workshops offline and there was an opportunity to get higher prices on tickets, but since digital, we had to lower the ticket fees to keep attendance high. We were looking for sponsors, but it is pretty hard as you can imagine. Do you guys have any ideas or examples to inspire us?
We are hosting an event on Wonder in a couple of weeks and I am trying to learn all I can but am getting a “you are unable to access this content” when I click on the FAQ in the knowledge base section. It says to contact someone in the community but I don’t even know how to do that so thought I would start here.
Hi, my name is Anke, I am head of German at the National University of Río Cuarto in Argentina. I got introduced to wonder at an online conference earlier this year and have since used it in my language classes for oral practice - students love it. I am also codirecting a project of (virtual) language tables “Pluriparla”, which started in 2019 and continued last year on zoom. Students of the major “Tecnicatura en Lenguas” moderate conversation “tables” in 6 different languages: English, Spanish, German, Portuguese, French and Italian. The virtual space offers our students the opportunity to mix with native speakers and language learners from all over the world. For our upcoming September edition of Pluriparla we´re planning to use wonder, with areas for the 6 languages and conversation circles. If you´re interested in participating (for yourself or your students), let me know - the more diverse the participants, the more interesting the event!
Introducing myself: I’m Daniel David Wallace. I host events for fiction writers -- that’s what I plan to use Wonder.me for.Last year my plot summit attracted 3,000 attendees. This year’s one starts on Saturday the 16th. Gulp!https://forest.plotsummit.comLet me know if you work in a similar are!
Hi Wonder folks, Just introducing myself here, nothing else at the moment.Wasn’t really looking for a solution like this but just happened to land on this tool and I’m kinda hooked after checking out the product (thanks @Wonder-ful_Andrew for the awesome demo today). The tool is very intuitive and clean, almost “tactile” - plus, the browser-based usage makes it very easy to use. The idea of “fluid togetherness” and replicating real-world physical interactions makes a lot of sense. Can’t put my finger on exactly what it is about the product yet, but I just have this gut feeling that there’s a lot of potential for something like this. I’m going to try and use this more for social and non-work gatherings as much as possible. Also, the community here seems quite vibrant and helpful. Really inspiring stuff :)
