When it comes to applying this mentality to work, well—let’s just say there’s a time and place for being chill. It’s easy to run meetings on auto-pilot, thinking it doesn't require skill or thought. Let me be controversial here for a moment: At Wonder (and in the wider community of meeting and gathering experts), we believe that "gathering well isn't a chill activity". Effective and engaging meetings need more structure than you think. What follows is a breakdown of how to make sure that your meetings bring out the best in people instead of draining energy, increasing frustration, or worse: resulting in faceless, silent gatherings where the person who called the meeting does all the talking (practically a modern-day horror story!). Exclude people thoughtfullyYes, you read me right! While it's amazing to have an inclusive culture when it comes to communication and team values, thoughtful exclusio

One thing that I noticed was the ease on administrate the conference. The moderator could almost do it by herself. We had very few problems. To or three had problem with their microphone. Non where familiar with wonderme before but everyone could handle the tool in a short time. The new functions with meeting areas was very useful. So all and all it worked out better than expectedBengt

Here’s how Total Loyalty Company is using Wonder as their Office Space.Sam Lau, the CEO of Total Loyalty Company says “At Total Loyalty Company we recgonise that employees miss the impromptu connection and conversation between colleagues - so we have devised this #TLC_Virtual_Office, a platform that all our colleagues are online during the day, and we can "walk up" to anyone and open up an instant video chat session, just like you might do in the office. We can have our group meetings also in our Team Huddle, and ask colleagues to meet for private meetings.. all with the visual of seeing all the colleagues moving around and interacting.Using the platform by Wonder, our Virtual Office enables our colleagues to stay connected with each other and reduce some of the isolation and disengagement.”Learn more this use case here: https://lnkd.in/dvqWKwCSDo you use Wonder as you virtual office or are you thinking about it? 💫

We believe in cultivating intentional experiences to help us gather together, no matter the obstacles that stand in the way. Activism is incredibly important to us, and as such, we are actively doing our part to help raise advocacy and support for our Ukrainian friends and loved ones. To continue to support our loves ones in Ukraine we launched a special theme that hosts can activate within their Space, as well as a button that empowers participants to donate to reputable Ukrainian organizations and create a direct impact. At Wonder we stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine and have compiled lists of both local and global organizations to help those who have been affected. We’ve created a safe space to gather freely, share ideas, and uplift one another no matter where you are in the world. Let's map out that virtual conference budget together, shall we? Hello!Sorry, on a time crunch here and no time to browse recent posts, but the news about Sessions contained this part:“Content Sessions (all events)Setup an avatar for Broadcasting...”Is there now a function to add an extra profile through which we could display instructions as to what to do in a specific discussion area or session, f.ex. screensharing a picture with instructions? Looked at the Sessions settings but didn’t find something about that.We have an event next week where groups should network and discuss about specific questions in discussion areas by theme, so being able to share more instructions to read within each discussion area would help us since we do not have enough facilitators to be with each group. Last year we did a similar event and had to send the discussion questions by email to everyone in advance, wondering if the latest update offers a tool for that besides the agenda. TIA!

Hi Wonder Community, this is Vale, Head of Business Development at Wonder. In case you missed it, we announced the launch of integrations at Wonder last month. Today I'd like to tell you a bit more about the newest one, namely doWow. doWow is the world’s first tool to build and host interactive cross-platform virtual & hybrid events – broadcasted anywhere and moderated in real-time. The fun part about the Wonder <> doWow partnership is that you can now create an interactive media wall with custom-ordered page components. You can use Wonder as your preferred gathering space and surround it with fun features like social media feeds, YouTube videos, CTAs, Miro boards, or Typeform surveys with doWow. You can learn more about the integration here. Have you used doWow before? If yes, what's your experience been like? I'd love to hear from you here and will make sure to reply
